From Mamer to Mersch and back again: the Mamer valley belongs to fans of non-motorised means of transport on this weekend of 21 and 22 August. Routes that are normally busy with cars will be closed to them. The tour starts at the station in Mamer and leads through Capellen and Keispelt to Mersch. From there it goes along the river Mamer back to Mamer.
At the beginning, the route leads to Capellen, then through smaller villages such as Nospelt and Meispelt, before reaching the village of Schoenfels with its imposing castle. After a long descent, you reach Mersch. From here, the route leads into the Mamer valley, where the cycle path runs along the river before arriving back in Mamer.
