The Vëlosummer Event has added a new bike tour to their existing collection. The tour will be open on the weekend of the 7th and 8th August and will take you on a discovery tour of the North of Luxembourg. The tour will be divided into two smaller parts.

  • ‘VëloViaNorden’ Tour: Starts on the 7th and ends on the 8th August and will reopen on the 14th and 15th August. The route is 35km long, takes approximately 2h30min and has a difficulty level of medium. The route starts in Troisvierges via Huldange, with a connection to the famous Vennbahn (which runs through the East of Belgium up to Aachen), past the lake in Weiswampach and Clervaux to Wilwerwiltz in the Kiischpelt.   • ‘VëloViaNorden Wincrange’ Tour: This tour is an extension to the already mentioned ‘VëloViaNorden’ tour and extends via Wiltz, Winseler and Wincrange. It will be open on the 14th and 15th August. The route adds on 62km and will take approximately 4h15min with a difficulty level of medium. For more information, check out visitluxembourg.lu.

  • The ‘VëloViaNorden’ tour is open the 7th – 8th and the 14th and 15th August.
  • The ‘VëloViaNorden Wincrange’ tour starts on the 14th and ends on the 15th August.
  • The whole round trip is 97km long and will take approximately 6h45min.
  • Be sure to download a GPX or KML application in order to save the maps of the routes and to easily stay on track. You can do this either on the page with the details on the respective tour, contact any of the participating communes or even request a foldable map on the bottom of the vëlosummer.lu main page, with other useful information concerning the tours.
  • Don’t forget to collect the stickers to enter the competition.
