Last year’s edition proved to be a massive success with around 40.000 bikers riding the many possible routes throughout Luxembourg. This edition is different and more exciting: the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works and the General Directorate for Tourism, in collaboration with 65 municipalities, have organised access to 12 different routes spread across Luxembourg in order for bikers to enjoy traffic-free and scenic tours. However, it’s important to remember that the Highway Code still applies.
For those wishing to ride over multiple days and needing transportation for their luggage, the service movewecarry.lu has been put into place that will transport your luggage from one accommodation to another, free of charge. The 50-euro vouchers distributed during the pandemic can also be used for overnight stays.
Be sure to check out this page and www.velosummer.lu for updates on available routes and be one of the cyclists taking advantage of the event, whether it be for fun with friends and family or as a semi-professional cyclist.
