Browse and play in the open air: “D’Stad liest” will take place from 18 August to 12 September in the courtyard of the former National Library on Rue Notre Dame. In the shade of the majestic tree, the “Cité Bibliothèque” has set up an open-air library that invites visitors to browse through books, magazines or even newspapers.
This pop-up library also includes an area for children. The programme includes readings by Luxembourgish and foreign authors. Several night events are also planned.
During this “Book Month”, each week has a different theme. Thus, this week is dedicated to gastronomy, the week from 24 to 29 August is themed Manga & Comics, the week from 31 August to 5 September is themed Diversity and the week from 7 to 12 September focuses on travel. In the “Mäi klenge Spillbuttek” there will also be small board games for children available for purchase.
