Indoor climbing fun in Luxembourg You want to try out indoor climbing first? You can do so in the climbing halls of the Coque, the youth hostel in Echternach or in Soleuvre … You can get into climbing by bouldering, because here you don’t need a partner to belay you with a rope, because you are not climbing on a high wall. The Boulder Klub Lëtzebuerg (B.K.L.), together with the National Climbing Community (www.iclimb.lu), makes bouldering possible, which consists of climbing a wall without a rope at jumping height. Mats on the ground protect against injuries when falling.

This modern sport is becoming increasingly popular and anyone can try it, as no special equipment is needed. You have to be at least 12 years old; a training session costs 5 euros. The hall is located in the heart of Luxembourg City and is only a five-minute walk from the city centre. It is located in the basement of a primary school on Limpertsberg.
